9. A glueing room shall be provided. Players shall glue in this room only. The organizing committee can test players' racket any time.
10. The 3 umpire system, one umpire and two assistant umpires sitting along the end lines,will be introduced in the 2nd stage, but the 2 umpire system will apply for all matches in the 1st stage.
11. At the umpires briefing meeting the umpires will be asked to pay special attention to the service rules.
12. During the intervals players will be asked to leave their rackets on the table according to the rules.
13. Before every team event the teams are requested to enter the playing area for a greeting ceremony.
14. I hope that players in all situations behave like sportsmen and women. However, I would like to emphasize that the umpires are entitled to use the penalty point system at any time.
At the umpires meeting on February 12, all umpires will receive elaborate instructions about the above mentioned points. They will also be informed that the information has been given to the team captains.
